But you may not know all they went through to get to that point. Years of learning, trying and taking action, and hard work. If you get stuck in the information loophole, you will only be reading, learning but aiming for nothing. That’s why it’s so important to accept that it will take hard work, and that you must set realistic goals for yourself. The same rules apply for success whether you’re online, or offline. A common mistake made by the majority of online marketers is they fail to build a targeted list of subscribers or prospects. You could be running your online business for years but if you don’t have a list, you aren’t really building a long term business. The smartest thing you can do is start on your list. If you do, you’ll make more money from more sales. You’ll be able to make money on back-end offers, and you’ll be able to make future sales to the same people.

There is another common mistake that marketing newcomers often make -they get on lots of gurus’ email lists and end up hearing about too many different methods. Getting too many different ideas at one time can result in confusion and paralysis. What happens then is that one’s inbox gets overloaded with lots of different plans, each pointing in a slightly different direction.
