So you finally got yourself a website.  Now you want to get it ranked higher on all the search engines so other people can see your new website.  Search engine rank is one of the most important things you will need to do in order to get your website to grow and prosper.  Just because you have a website now doesn’t mean that people will automatically traffic it.  Once a website is created it is basically out in the middle of no where and you need to get people and the search engines to traffic your site to make it stronger.  How can I imporve search engine rank?  Here are some tips and tricks.

Title tags on your web pages are very improtant.  You don’t want you business name in the title tag unless you are branding your business name.  Put some good keywords in the title tags that you think people will use to search to find your website.  Example:  you own a cologne store.  A couple of good title tags would be discount mens cologne - mens cologne - Cologne and Fragrance.  This will help people find your site.  But most importantly it will help the search engines find your site as well.  That is the key.  Also make sure you place these keywords and a lot of other keywords in the content of your web pages so that your content will be related to the keywords in the title tags.  Just make sure you don’t over do it.  because the search engines will not like that and boot your website out of their index.
