Not Indexed? Here Is A Quick Way To Get Out Of Google Sandbox

I had my brother working on a blog and he found out that after a few months of doing links from article marketing and other link building strategies. He was not getting into the index of Google. When you are not in the index of Google, it is most likely because of the site. It is usually to new or not good enough because no links are pointing to it! So here is probably the simplest way I begin every new search engine optimization campaign and link building service with any website.

This happens to more web masters and new blog posters more and more. With so much content out there, the sooner you can get into the index the better you are. To see if you are in the index, simply type: (without quotes - "site:www.website.com" ) This will tell you if your pages are within Googles index. If not or if you plan on building a blog or improving search engine rankings, then follow the steps below for some link love and Google indexing love!!!

  1. Art-writing.jpgPlace Content On The Site/Blog - The first thing you will need to do is get some content on the blog. Post a little or alot, just get at least 3 to 5 postings. At least have something people want to view and Google can crawl. The more the better the Google index will pick you up! The next step is a good way to find content for the pages.

  2. Social Bookmarking - This is great because it gets the content out there to other bloggers. Do a search for your topic and read about someone’s post or hot topic. Then write a post that would be of interest to readers of the niche. Finally, get started bookmarking that page. You can use the social bookmarking sites below to help gain more attraction to your website.
    • Digg - this is a largest bookmarking site and can be a huge resource to get quality links and love from others. By submitting a good post to this site, you are opening up that small little post to the world!

    • Delicious - This is another almost as big as Digg site which will gain more visibilty to your site. Many users here however are webmasters and bloggers, so you can get a ton of links by rising to the top of Delicious/Popular. It only takes 10 bookmarks in a certain period of time to get on Delicious/Popular, so, frankly, it’s easy to game.

    • Netscape - Because Netscape has fewer members than Digg, getting 12-15 votes in a short time can get you to the bottom of the first page. If you’re planning on trying to game the system, however, you should beware: the Netscape algorithm is sophisticated enough to recognize the worst manipulators.

    • StumbleUpon - My personal favorite. This site is great for pushinig content and reviewing it yourself. If your content is interesting you can gain alot of momentum from this site. The program is growing quickly but still doesn’t have the name recognition of Digg or Delicious, but giving a thumbs up for yourself and others doing the same is great marketing and will bring crawlers to your site.

    • Reddit - This is a fast growing bookmarking site and does get me some great traffic. You content will get some hits from this site, but try to use scarcity in your marketing as this will increase your odds of click thru’s.

  3. flamocon.gifPinging and Feeds - My lord this is the MECCA!!! I love these pinging sites and feed sites. Your content is thrown everywhere. Also, after being in the Search Engine Strategies in California, I kept hearing about newsfeeds how important they are to getting new sites found. So if there is one thing you do on this list is use the sites below to get those crawlers to your website.
    • Ping Goat - This is a great tool to get your blog picked up and thrown around the net like Las Vegas dice at the craps table. What ping oat will do is search your blog and  capture all the pages so they can be sent to other sites where Google will pick them up and blast them out into the internet. Try this tool after creating some content on your blog, and then go to Google and type in "site:www.yoursite.com" and see if your pages are indexed in Google. This works like a charm!

    • FeedBurner - Feebburner is another great source and if you get the plugin from word press it works seamlessly. Feedburner picks up your blog and sends it out all over the internet to news feeds. This gets that post that you were told to write in the begining and pimp it out there!!!

Well, if you like this article, go ahead and give it some link love!
